Fasteners used for pressure treated materials:
- We use Hot-dip ring shank galvanized nails. This is the most
effective way to build with pressure treated material.
- Mold growth may occur on building products, including
untreated or treated wood. To remove mold from treated wood
surface, mild soap and water is typically used. |

How the Wood is Preserved:
- The
NatureWood® wood preservative is a waterbourne, alkaline
copper quarternary preservative system developed to provide
long-term protection of wood exposed in exterior applications.
This system is based on the well-established effectiveness of
copper combined with an organic quaternary compound and is
applied to wood by pressure treatment. Copper and quaternary
compounds are effective fungicides and termiticides. Together
they provide protection from a broad spectrum of fungi and
termites.
